A little over two years after it was formed, the Indy Food Cooperative has announced plans to open its first store just east of Rural Street at 2236 E. 10th St. Scheduled for an October opening, the store will be known as Pogue’s Run Grocer, according to a recent announcement by the not-for-profit organization. The store will be open to the public, but co-op members will receive discounts. Nearly 200 families are now members of the fledgling organization.
